Jillian McMillan completed her Master of Clinical Neuropsychology degree in 2012 and was awarded the Vice Chancellors Award for academic excellence. She is a registered psychologist with the Psychology Board of Australia and is endorsed as a Clinical Neuropsychologist. Jillian is a fellow of the College of Clinical Neuropsychologists and a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.

Jillian sees patients for a broad range of neuropsychological needs from baseline clinical assessments to medico-legal assessments and reports. She offers her clients thorough assessments conducted in a manner that builds trust, rapport, and optimal testing conditions to ensure the best outcome for her patients.

Jillian has a strong knowledge of neurodegenerative diseases and how they affect cognition and behaviour. She has a special interest in the differential diagnosis of dementia and extensive experience in early onset and atypical dementia, with a focus on accurate, early diagnosis to help her patients and their families access appropriate interventions and supports as soon as possible.
​
Having worked in rehabilitation settings for many years, Jillian is also experienced in working with patients with other neurological disorders, such as stroke, traumatic brain injury, and epilepsy, both for initial diagnosis and in the rehabilitation phase of recovery. She has also worked in aged care psychiatry and neuropsychiatry services and is experienced in the differential diagnosis of psychiatric versus organic causes of cognitive difficulties.

Jillian worked in public health for nearly 10 years, where she worked closely with multidisciplinary teams providing evidence based neuropsychological services. She has worked with neurologists, geriatricians, psychiatrists, and rehabilitation specialists to assist with the differential diagnosis of cognitive disorders. She now works in private practice, working with her referrers from her private rooms and also offers consulting services for other services and facilities across NSW.
